Makenna's bday

Mady Jae started walking today! This morning she got up and all the sudden was just walking from thing to thing in the living room. The most steps I counted was nine. I was counting them as she was taking them. But when I took her upstairs to take a nap I gave her a cup in one hand and a bink in the other and she walked all the way down the hall way. She would have walked into her room if Max wouldn't have come up and tried to steal her cup and bink. She's so proud of herself when she walks too! It's so amazing :) I am so compeletely proud of that girl! She was so strong for her and Maddox when they were in my belly. I really feel like she held them in there as long as they were. She had all the weight of her and Maddox on top of her and she held on for 35 weeks and 2 days! She's so amazing! And she's such a healthy girl too. We thought she was going to need glasses, but she's got great eyes. And We thought she was going to need physical theraphy to walk..I scheduled the one appt but haven't had her back for he follow ups yet..and she's going to walk on her own. She never fails to amaze me! LoL but she'll only do it for me. As soon as I tried to get her to walk for Tim..she just sat down and crawled to him. She can still get around faster crawling..and of course she wants to fly to her daddy and to have him carry her everywhere. But I have a feeling that by next week..she's gonna be nonstop!

Today was Makenna's FOURTH birthday! Four amazing years I've spent with my little princess :) And every day I look at her she takes my breath away. She's so absolutely beautiful, inside and out :) She's such a sweet and caring little lady. It's her birthday, but she asked her Mimi and Paps to get a present for Mikhail! She's such a thoughtful little bug. I got her two Barbies. One was a ballerina because she's so excited about her up coming dance class. Her outfit is pink and she has blonde hair and blue eyes, just like my girl :) And I got her another Barbie that has brown hair and is in a swim suit. I got that one because you can change her clothes. I got her a purple dress for the doll. I also got Makenna a dress up outfit and it came with a matching outfit for her Barbie. I got her the dance outfit she needs for her class. She got a leotard, a skirt, her slippers and tights too. And I got her tea party gloves, tiara, and necklace. She was one spoiled little lady, and I loved every minute of it! I also got Mikhail a Ken doll. I know a lot of people don't think boys should play with Barbies. But he pretends he's the husband..and I love the way they play together. They had so much fun together. I can't wait to get them more stuff. Mikhail took his Ken doll to bed with him tonight :)

We took her to Sakura today for lunch. She's just like her Daddy and that's the first place she thought to go. She really likes that they play the gong and sing happy birthday and bring out a fresh pineapple shaped like a fish. We did that for Mikhail's birthday, so of course she wanted that for her birthday :)

We also took her to the zoo to see the polar bears :) I always tell them they were my faveorite when I was little..so they were really excited about seeing them today. The exhibit was really cool too! You could see them above and below ground. At first when we went below ground, they weren't in the water..so we went up and then the girl polar bear jumped right in the water. So we went down to look and it was so neat. We could see her swiming right over our heads! And there was tons of fish swiming, and the bear was trying to catch them. It was just so neat! Makenna had such a fun day today :) I love birthdays and I love celebrating the birth of my children, it's the most amazing accomplishment of my life..giving birth to them..and it always will be! And they are a reason to celebrate!

When we got home from the zoo we were all tired. It was like 90 degrees. The babies went to sleep, and I took a nap. When I got up Tim took a nap. The big kids were playing Barbie and it was so fun to just sit in the living room and listen to them. Mikhail was pretending that he was taking his wife out, and they went to a resturant and Makenna told them they only serve, 'Japanese steak house chicken' and Mikhail would go to the store and seh would give him a shopping list and she's a bossy little thing! It's really fun though to watch them play. I can't wait to get them a Barbie house. Makenna worse her dance clothes around the house all day today. She danced for Tim. It was adorable. And then she randomly kissed him and me. She's sooo loving. I love the confidence she has and how she's willing to preform for any one. I'm going to enter her in a beauty contest in June. I hope she always has that confidence :)

At bed time we couldn't find out Spiderwick Cronicles that we've been reading, so we read out of our bedtime book..and I the book I just happened to pick up had a Birthday Suprise story..so of course I had to read it for Makenna. I changed the names in it to Makenna and Mikhail and the story was about two friends buying dolls..and Mikhail got mad becuse he didn't want to be in a story buying a doll...lol and Tim started teasing him and it turned into a wrestling match..it was HALARIOUS! Anyways, it's been an amazing day!

moving

Sitting here taking a breather for a moment..and then back to work!

In case you didn't know..moving is very hard. Moving and having four kids, is even harder! It's really hard doing everything around thier schedule. If they are napping I can't go to the old house to make trips...or if they are crying or whatever, there's not much I can do. I don't even have all the rooms here set up yet..there's just not enough time in the day! But I'm already so happy living here. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about living here...I've been with Tim for almost 8 years, and I've came here all the time, and this has always been "Anne's house" or "Noni's house" so for it to be "Our house" now, it's weird. But we are already settling into a great routine here. At the old house the kids would get up in the morning and come in our room and watch tv while we slept and we would always start the day off being lazy. Here we get up in the morning, come down stairs and watch tv while I get breakfast..it's so much nicer getting up early and starting the day. Buttt in the morning of course I always wish I could sleep just a little longer ;) Maddox has been sleeping in a pack n play in our room and the last two mornings, I've woken up to him standing in his bed looking at me. It's really funny because it's almost like he is waiting for me to get up before he says something :)

Saturday we were moving all day and Anne had the twins for us, Mom had the big kids for us..Anne said that while she had the babies...Max threw a ball and said, "catch" multiple times :) I wish I woulda been there to hear it. He doesn't really talk for me. Pretty much the only thing he says for me is, "Nana" when he wants a Bananna. He doesn't even say, Mama or Dada any more :( He signs pretty well for me. When he's done eating or when I'm done wiping his bottom he signs 'all done' and he signs 'eat' and 'cup' and 'bye' and 'hi' I'm working on teaching him 'mama' and 'dada' so if he doesn't want to say it he can sign it to me. Mady woke up yesterday and said, 'daddy' out of the blue..it was so cute! And today it was too funny, Timmy's friend was over and Mady was standing in the sun room and I said, 'see she stands, but she doesn't walk' and as I was saying it she took a step! By her self with no one trying to get her too.

Man when I started this I was all in the mood to blog..now the babies are crying and being stubborn about sleeping..so I can't even think. eh bye :(
