Highlights

I have had so many amazing moments today :)
First I woke up realizing that my babes are 18 months old today! I feel so blessed to have had them in my life for a full 18 months! I love looking back at all the amazing times we've spent together..and I'm just truely thankful to be thier mom <3 They are really special!
This morning the babes slept in! I am always up before the sun..and today, Max slept till 11am and Mady slept till 1130...how lucky am I? And they were both so happy today. I'm sure that rest did them good :)
Mikhail and Makenna have played together all day. I love that they are best friends. I love when they play and not fight. They've got such great imaginations..and it's so amuzing to see them putting them together and all the silly stuff they do.
Mady and Max have been playing together a lot today too! They are absolutely adorable. I was sitting with them and they were playing with their blocks. They had five blocks and at first Mady was stacking them by herself. I was really shocked that she was able to stack them. It was impressive. Then Max came over and he would pick a block up and put it on the tower..then Mady would..and they would alternate back and forth. It was cute to see their teamwork building the towers. I thought for sure after they got the fifth block on Max would just knock it down. So I clapped for them, and Mady clapped and Max stood up and he clapped and they just looked at thier tower so proud :) I loved watching! Then they knocked it down together. They rebuilt it over and over again..sharing the whole time. Then Mady started getting annoyed about sharing the blocks with him..so she would take his block off the tower and she would try to take the block out of his hand..even if that meant knocking the tower down in the process..she was being rotten.
A little later, Max walked down stairs and Mady was standing at the entertainment stand bending down messing with the buttons..I don't think that Max realized I was in the room. He walked up to her and kissed her on the head :) It was so sweet! I didn't even tell him to do it. Then he looked up and saw me and I think it startled him..so I said, "awwwww' and he kissed her on the head again and again..but she was bobbin her head around and I don't think he got to solidly kiss her..so he kissed her on the leg. It was seriously the sweetest thing ever! I wish I would have gotten it on tape! He's been my little love bug all day! He was carring around a red balloon and Tim's ear piece to his video games, and he walked up to me wanting a hug. So I hugged him. And he walked away and two seconds later was back for another hug. He just wanted to hug and hug..Mommies hugs never run out of course..and I loved every minute of it!
Mikhail shocked me today! We were standing in the kitchen and I was getting him and Makenna a drink. And after I poured Makennas..Mikhail laughed and said, 'her drink is LITTERALLY stuck to the table hahahah' and I was so suprised because litterally is such a big word, not only did he emphasise it when he said it..but he said it correctly too! He is really growing up in front of my eyes. It's crazy how big he is getting! I'll think that he's such a big independent boy one minute, and the next minute he gets hurt and he just wants his beaty and to cuddle. I know he'll always be my baby..deep down..he will :)
And Makenna has her moments of course too! Yesterday I was taking her to my parents to visit, and when we were out on the drive all the sudden she said, 'sasafrassssss' lol I used to say that all the time when I was little...so much it drove my dad insane! And I'm pretty sure I've told her that before..but this just came out of the blue. It was too cute, she said it just like I used to.
Then we were eating lunch and Makenna said, 'this morning I said I hate my little table..' and I said, 'why do you hate your little table?' and she said, 'because it's too little and it barely fits anything on there' lol too freaking cute! it's a little tykes table and we call it the little table..it's where Mikhail and Makenna eat together. Right now I'm not really using a dining room table. The kids sit at the little table, the twins in thier high chairs, and Tim and I either stand or sit on the couch. My old table..all the chairs got messed up and it's in the garage. I really want to get a new one. I told the kids at the next house we'll have a big table where we can all sit together and eat and talk. They got really excited and said they wanted one just like the old one. It's funny they remember that :) They remember everything..just like little elephants
Well the boys are at my parents visiting..the girls are sleeping..and tim's doing school work..i think i'm gonna do what the other girls are doing and go nap..i know i slept in...im just still tired. A quiet house is the perfect opportunity to take a nap!!
