****I'm watching Teen Mom right now..I don't know why I'm so interested in these shows..it's like a wierd obsession. It's weird, because I had Mikhail when I was 19 and I was a teen mom..but my life is nothing like thiers. I know they had thier kids when they were still in high school..so it's not really the same situation. But it really makes me reflect on my life and how well we are actually doing. It just really puts things into prespective. There's a couple on the show who gave thier baby up for adoption..and everytime their part airs, it makes me want to cry. I couldn't ever imagine living my life knowing my baby was out there and I wasn't part of thier life.

****Ok enough about the teen mom show. Vacation was lots of fun. It seriously went so fast, I don't even know where all the time went. We had left on Thursday at midnight and got there at 10am. I was seriously so tired we didn't do anything, lol just slept. We took them swimming in the resort pool..it was indoor. I was really proud of Mikhail, he is such a fish! He can doggy paddle with out swimmies. And Makenna is the complete opposite. She was seriously so scared of the water she was shaking. At first I had to talk her into getting on the steps, and then I talked her into letting me hold her in the water. And thennn I talked her into hanging onto a doughnut intertube thing. The more she did, the happier she was! She was so proud of herself, and loved seeing her dad & aunt's expression when she did something new. I'm really excited about getting a pass to the Y..because both of them need to go swimming more. I don't want Makenna to be scared of the water, and I want Mikhail to excel in something he is good at. We took them to the Ripley's aquarium, which was super cool on so many different levels. We went there when we were little, and I remembered things about it when I went in..which was really cool! The kids had a blast :) We got to pick up these shell crabs and hold them and touch them. They also tried to touch sting rays, but their arms were too short, so they couldn't touch them. They loved the big aquarium that they could go on the convare belt and ride through..they got to see sharks and all kids of fish. Maddox was so cute pointing at everything, the twins both really loved all the fish too :P We also took the toddlers to Medievel times, which was also really cool, because Tim and I used to go there when we were little. Makenna kept saying, 'what is a real castle doing in South Carolina?' and they were just so amazed. We bought them toy swords and they wore crowns and cheered for our knight. We were rooting for the red and yellow knight. Our knight lost his battle..and the kids were furious..but it's all just part of the show. When the green knight got defeated..Mikhail cheered! There was one part of the show where the green knights men had captured the prince and were whipping him, and Tim said Mikhail didn't like that. I love that he still roots for the good :) It was an awesome expierence taking them there. I also got to take the tots to the beach with Tim's mom and Tim's sister and her daughter. Tim had a headache & we were a little worried about taking the twins..Max was just getting over an ear ache and we thought they would probably just eat the sand anyways! I enjoyed watching them dig in the sand and chase sea gulls. It was really fun. The beach always reminds me of being little and my parents taking us to Myrtle Beach. The beach is just so peaceful and calming. I really want to get back soon! The night before we left we took all the kids swimming. It was really shocking that Maddox was scared. That kid is a dare devil and he's so brave, but he really acted scared of the water! Madelyn, geeze, the last time we took her swimming, she cried her eyes out..she was so scared! But this time, she LOVED it! I even dunked her, and she didn't cry. She just rubbed her eyes. I'm excited about taking them swimming at the Y too! It will be great time with them :) We ended up leaving vacation a day early because there were some serious weather threats in the mountains..I didn't want to get stranded on the road with four little ones..so we thought it'd be better to just cut it a little short and make sure we got home safe...than to push it and risk something.

****It actually was pretty nice having all of Christmas eve at home. We got a lot taken care of and we went to Church with my parents. I always love the Christmas Eve service. And the kids were well rested to get up on Christmas day. They always get up before us, and run around the house..and we didn't want them to see thier Christmas presents before we got up..so we put two gates, one on top of the other and put bells on the gates..so we would hear them when they got up. I thoguht for sure they would freak out when they opened thier door..but they just said that they needed to go to the bathroom. It was funny. And Makenna didn't even ask about her presents, she just asked if she could see if Santa drank his milk and ate his cookies. When they did finally come down stairs, they were so HAPPY! Mikhail said, "OH MY GOD!" and ran to his remote control car. Ken sat down at her vanity and was singing and doing her hair..she's going to be such a girly girl! And the babies loved thier bouncy toy! They played with their big presents for a while without even noticing there was anything else to open. The loved opening thier presents too though. Most of them were for them both..like dress up clothes ect. We didn't spend a fortune on Christmas, but they loved it so much..it really made me feel good! I bought them these piggy banks that they can decorate, and that's what we are going to do tomorrow..they are always finding loose change around the house..so now they'll have somewhere to put it all! And I'm going to start rewarding them with a quarter here and there, and when they save enough i'll let them go buy something :)

****Ohh and I know this is like the never ending blog..but I redid the tots room..and I LOVE it! I was so proud of myself. I moved thier bunk beds all by myself. I just really love the way it all looks and fits in there. They have the coolest room for being just three and four. They have a computer, a couch, a table with thier tv and video games, a fish tank, and a book shelf, a cool treasure chest for their toys, and Makenna's vanity..and it doesn't look just crammed in there..they have room to play on the floor, it's very clean and organized :) I'm proud of it! Maybe the next blog i'll add pics :)

****Today it was super cute, we were getting ready to go out to lunch and Makenna was getting ready at her vanity. She was putting on make up and she let me do her hair.. so after she was all ready to go out..I got Maddy up..and sat her on Ken's vanity chair, and Makenna got out her makeup and started putting it on Maddy. Maddy was letting her put lipstick on her and she let Ken brush her hair, she had the cutest smile on her face while Ken was doing it..and I had a glimpse into the future and how much they are going to love sharing a room..and what best friends they are going to be. At our next house..I can't wait to give them the princess room I know they'll love. I want to have a little table in there for them to have tea parties at, and their vanity, and it's just going to be the cutest room..I can see it in my mind.

****Ohh and last thing, lol! Maddox went down the stairs today! So now he can go up and down :)
